HDL products conform to four standard, and internationally accepted protocols. Our products have been inspected and certified by:

KNX- The KNX association is the world leader in standardised home and building automation. To become certified by KNX, products must be inspected and tested to ensure their interoperability.

DALI- Alternatively known as Digital Addressable Lighting Interface, is a standard that ensures uniform illumination levels are achieved regardless of a components manufacturer.

ZigBee- The ZigBee Alliance consists of a group of companies that allow multiple manufacturers to create interoperable products.

Z-wave- The Z-Wave Alliance consists of over 250 manufactures who create interoperable products.

Due to the certification and inspection procedures HDL is able to provide automation solutions that meet the requirements set forth by these industry leaders.

DALI stands for Digital Addressable Lighting Interface and is a protocol set out in the technical standard IEC 62386. The task of providing light in a room has long been resolved – the challenge today is to ensure that the right quality of light is provided. The list of parameters that need to be considered is long. Just a few are: brightness and glare, colour rendering and light colour, colour control and presence sensing. For these tasks, you need a reliable, reasonably priced and simple control system helping to address the challenges that modern lighting technology needs to meet – that’s DALI.
